Katsumotos application [imma pretty sick of being a shinigami all the time, time to try for vizard......]

Physical Appearance: Katsumoto now has long white hair that stops at the beginning of his shoulders, he usually wears it into a samurai's bun, but likes the bangs to hang down over his face. he is about six foot tall and has a sar streching from the right ear to the bottom left of the chin, he also has a scar on his back tha runs from right hip to left shoulder blade and a more recent scar on his torso that runs horizontally from one side of his chest to the other. one of his eyes are now deep blue since it was hit by a kido, and the other dark earthly brown. He has an incredible physical build, he can normally lift about three hundred pounds over his head.

Clothing: Katsumoto now usually wears dark black leather clothing with some armor on the ligaments, he also tends to wear a dark red scarf around the botom half of his face.

Traits: Katsumoto somewhat likes women but is not that good at flirting, and can be really shy around them. he really does not like to see his opponent get cocky or anything so he likes to be on the attack.

Personality: Katsumoto is a born leader, and an abused child. thats mainly where he gets his scars from. Anyway, he can be a bit shy, but when it comes to fighting he is nearly always on the attack, but is also very skilled with defense. He is very calm, and very serious when it comes to strategy, he is an excellent tactician and never gives up. He does not like being insulted, but forgives easilly. He likes to make himself sometimes look like he is not even human. He doesn't eat around others, because you'll see why in his history.

Background/History:
Katsumoto was born in a distant village of samurai warriors, all of them rouges of th empire in japan. Katsumoto ever since he was born was trained in the use of the sword. And his skills were beaten into him. His teachers would beat him until he got the kata, or the posture of stance correct. Every day Katsumoto returned home with tear streaks on his cheeks. And no one asked him what was wrong, for they didn't care.

When Katsumoto was three years old, he was able to see ghosts and souls. He never spoke about it, but they were his only comfort. They would talk to him, ask him why he was crying or how he was feeling. Souls were always more of a family than his living one. the only thing they cared about was that he was the eldest. And that he was learning more than anyone else in his family. When Katsumoto was five years old, they took him into a whole other level with the sword. And the blows the laied upon hi were only worse and worse. Many of the other children laughed at him histerically. And they beat him with their wooden swords until they were satisfied.

One day, when Katsumoto was seven, one of the other kids were beating on him again, and Katumoto blocked the attack, and broke his leg. The boy screamed in pain as his bone snapped in half, entirely. Katsumoto was then beaten until unconciousness and awoke the next morning with blood trickling down his face. Katsumoto slowly got up and walked home. When he got there he cleaned the wound on his head and dressed it. Katsumoto stayed there all day, crying in pain and sadness.

When Katsumoto was at last ten years old, he did a horrfic act. He took his fathers sword, and slaughtered his village, one by one. And lived life in depression ever since. and repeatedly went to temples and cleansed his sins. But that one sin would cling to him forever. And it will never go away. And so he lived the next seventeen years as a rouge looking for a purpose in this world of his. and never found one.

Death

When Katsumoto died. his soul freshly extracted from his body. Wandered the country looking for yet again a purpose, he didn't even really know for sure if he was dead. But he found that out when no one reacted to him hen he hollared and everything that annoys people. he merely sighed and walked off.

After the first ten years of death, nothing really mattered to him anymore. He didn't care. all he could do was walk around. he did this for about thirty years, nothing maintainning to be a plot in his eyes.

Then one of the best things happened to him in his death. a soul reaper came and sent him to the soul society.

Shinigami

When Katsumoto ended up in the soul society, he lived in peace for a decade, and when he leared that shinigami were needed. he signed up for the academy. he trained hard, like he did in his life. And he came top in every class he had. From kido to Sword fighting. When he graduated he was a leutenant, and after the many years of being in that rank status he became a captain.

Hollowfication

Katsumoto was Fighting a hollow, a lastos vordes, and lost, he nearly was turned into a hollow, but he was saved just in time, but the hollow was accidentally locked in his body, and he did not yet know that it was there....

One night he was laying in bed, and a voice spoke out to him, "come here now......" it growled. and made ichigo come to his inner realm.

Katsumoto looked around him, a man, looking like a man with a lions head and a sword in hand, stood there smirking evilly. "I have been locked up here long enough, time to take what is mine. but wait, i have not properly introduced myself, my name is El Feroz. and tonight i am going to kill you and retake our body." he said pointing the sword at Katsumoto.

Katsumoto drew his sword, it looked as if Fire was flickering in his eyes. He drew his Zanpokto. and pointed it at El Feroz,"You must be that hollow i fought long ago. Well it is time to be dominated so i can keep my body." And he flash stepped behind El, and slashed down. El, being the opposite of Katsumoto was cut from the shoulder to the other side of the waist. "See, we are already beginning to look alike." Katsumoto said. El merely growled and slashed fiercely at Katsumoto. Katsumoto blocked continueously. he had never fought something like this before. Then he noticed that he was in a forest, lots of trees. he quickly shot up one and yelled,"Hado 33, Sokatsui!" aiming at El, El merely sidestepped, flashed stepped towards where katsumoto was and slashed. Katsumoto blocked with ease and slashed at El, El steeped backwards. Katsumoto had him right where he wanted now. he continueously jabbed at the hollows face until he hit a tree, then he slashed his leg, deep. El Roared in pain and fell to the ground. "Katsumoto, please, spare my life," El whimpered. "This is my body, El." and he left his inner realm.

Vizard

After training hard and long with the leader of the vizards, and one of the four vizard leaders. he was a fully appointed vizards. and felt very proud, but was not cocky. He stays on his toes for now, until it seems safe to fight again.

He said in a deep voice. and took his place in the line of captains

History/Background:

Katsumoto was born in a small village hidden in the mountains from civilization. Because the way of Bushido was the way they followed, they were at constant war with the imperial army. The samurai (the ones who follow the way of Bushido) suffering many losses. that is how Katsumoto came to be, the women of the village was meant to have as many sons as possible, and Katsumoto was the eldest of the twenty children his mother had. His brothers and sisters had despised him for he earned the greatest respect. Especially when it came to training, he trained well and hard, earning the top rank of every class. Especially the sword. in which the weapons used were wooden bokkens. And was victor of every spar they had. he trained hard over the years. And learned he had the gift to see spirits and make physical contact with the when he was six. He loved to play Samurai vs. Imperial army with them. But when his mother caught him talking to hem, she thought he was in contact with evil spirits and beat him into not talking to the souls ever again. He was very obedient since then. never having any business with plus souls or anything like that. he eventually forgot them. But he could still see them.

As Katsumoto entered the age of fourteen, he was enlisted into the army of the samurai. and was forced to fight the imperial army in horrifying battles. it was as if chivalry hadn't existed on earth anymore. He had to remove many heads and use them as Symbols that he deserved to receive a new rank. he was a general by the age of seventeen. and it was his first time returning home since the many years he and his family had been apart. But sadly when he returned there, a dear friend of his had brought news of their families death by a disease. Katsumoto merely sighed and returned to his tent. only to weep in silence.

The next week, on his eighteenth birthday, he was deployed into a reserve Army, while his friends got all the action.of coourse, Katsumoto was the general of the reserve. and was to follow the main army into evry battle but not engage unless needed.

For four years Katsumoto did this. And he was at last needed. He Quickly snuck behind enemy lines and attacked from their rear. the enemy was massacred. and they were victorious.

Katsumoto was again allowed to return to their village. and there he met a fine young girl. and married her at the rising sun. they kissed, and they were married. they had children, five sons and two daughters. but sadly katsumoto had to be deployed into one last battle in order to stay at they village for the rest of his life, and he was only twenty seven.

the next day he had to battle the general of the imperial army. and the general was able to get under his guard and thrusted through Katsu. Gasping for breath, katsumoto thrusted through the general as well. and killed him. then everything went black.

As Katsumoto's soul was pulled out of his body. And so he went to his hut in the village. the villagers never came into the hut because they knew of his presence and denied going in there. Katsumoto lived for weak gaining knowledge from scrolls, until one day he came across a unusual scroll. it read of battles of shinigami and hollows, quincy and arrancar. Katsumoto was thrilled. because this all took place in the world of the dead. but he needed a shinigami to pass him on to soul soceity. so he sat there for another two weeks. training in mind and body to become one of the shinigami.

at last a shinigami came walking through the road of the village, and found him. the shinigami went by the name Nobutada. and the shinigami sent him to soul soceity. there Katsumoto was taught in the way of the demon, the Zanpoktou...and all that other stuff. and after 65 years of hard training, Katsumoto graduated from the academy. he is now ready for battle and will do anything to destroy the arrancar.
