He is about 6'2". He has a slim figure, and he is very dark looking. Of course, given his history why wouldn't he? He has raven black hair and dark blue eyes. He is rather pale. His legs give him most of his height. People look into his eyes, and say that they felt like time froze and they were stabbed in the heart repeatedly.
His teeth are always whitened, thanks to a Kidou laser-treatment. His hair can also change color. His racial specialty when he was an arrancar was the ability to transform into other people of many races, and use their abilities, much like Arroniero. Either way, it passed on for a while and now all that remains is his changing hair color. On a whim, he can change it, but it can also change with his mood if his feeling is extreme. If you look at the colors of a mood ring, you'll be able to tell his mood, especially if his face determines it.
He commonly wears a bored expression, his face shows nearly nothing unless his emotion is extreme. The most common extreme emotion is rage, because he is easily angered.

Character/Player Bio:-Personality: He is dark and brooding, having lost all hope in the imaginable mind he may have left. He acts like all is gone for him except for research. He will research obsessively and things to that effect. He can become very violent very quickly. He loves to kill hollows and things of that nature. He has knowledge of every race that most others wouldn't believe.
Having been a member of every race,however, he has developed a sympathetic attitude towards the problems of all of them. With this, he generally tends to help anyone, no matter what race, as long as they haven't proven hostile. In other words, if a hollow were crying and trapped in a bear trap...though it would be the perfect opportunity to slay it, Despair would let it free just because it were crying. Though he is sharp, so if that same Hollow would turn around and attack, Despair would kill it brutally.
He is not a fan of being deceived, it was what put him through his thousands of years of hell. He can tell when somebody is a liar. Deception has become an impossible task to do to him. He is also a master of deception himself, having had to use it to get along in life. He is a master of kidou.

-History: His past is extremely checkered with research of transforming spiritual beings into other spiritual beings without use of the Zanpakuto. Way back when he was young and enjoyable, he found a chemical formula that lets one change a hollow back to a plus near instantly.
However, fortune doth not shine on the blind.
Despair soon fell into a deep depression while he was working on the formula. He was very deep in when the other members discovered a cure for his depression as well. Despair was glad to try anything that would let him complete the revolutionary chemical... however one member was bitter, and wanted Despair out of the picture.
Despair was given the wrong formula, and instead of being cured of depression, he went through horrible agony. He became a hollow, and rampaged his way throughout soul society, disappearing into a garganta to Hueco mundo.
This was not the end to his torment.
Soon thereafter, he was turned into a plus, while hunting in the Human world. Some hundreds of years later, he became a Superhuman. After his "death" as that he was a vizard.... and thereafter he was a quincy, then a hollow once more. His cycle kept scrolling around through these for a few thousand years, and then it stopped when he finally returned to the race of shinigami. He managed to survive this horrible agonizing stretch of life and returned to Soul Society after he was sure that his spirit energy was done fluctuating between races.
Even though he was finished with this hell of an afterlife... he was still unable to shake this small attachment to the rest of the races. He now resides as a KC member today.
