Rules for Gaining Captain Positions: Your rp sample must be approved by an admin and ME!. You will not be recognized as a captain unless you are approved by the General of the Gotei 13 personally. This goes for through applications and in rp gaining of the rank.

As for challening the rank that will be accepted but only for the ranks that Are listed next. The reasoning behind that will be explained next.

Ranks that can be challenged for: Squad 2 Captain, Squad 5 Captain, Squad 6 Captain Squad 7 Captain, Squad 11 Captain.

now as for the other captain positions to gain them you have to be approved by a 50% majority of the captains and the captain commander [the cap com can be used as part of the 51% needed.] In other words to get this position 7 captains must say that you deserve the position more than the current captain and one must be the captain commander himself.

Ranks required by diplomacy Squad 3 Captain, Squad 4 Captain, Squad 8 Captain, Squad 9 Captain, Squad 10 Captain, Squad 13 Captian.

now at this point I bet your wondering how to become captain of squad 1 or squad 12 through rp and not through application. Well those are coming up next.

Becoming the Captain Commander or General of the Gotei 13.
When/If the current Gotei 13 General dies The remaining 12 captains will take a vote in a private topic. This topic will have each captain placing there vote and then if there is a clear winner that captain becomes Cap Com. If there is not the topic continues with each Captain voting again but the second time no captain can vote for themselves. If once again there is no clear winner the captains will then discuss until a majority rules the new Cap Com. After that the new Cap Com chooses his own replacement Captain for whichever squad he chooses.

Becoming Squad 12 Captain Through Rp:
This is a short paragraph explaining this. Since research and development has nothing to do with fighting it cannot be obtained by battle. Since it is not diplomatic you can't be voted in. So in order to become the squad 12 captain non through application is by being the chosen replacement of the squad 12 captain when they move on to another positon or by being the lieutenant of the squad when the squad 12 leader dies.

Main Duties of the Cap Com:
Duties: The captain commander is responsible for making sure at all times the captains all are capable of doing there duties better than any other deserving them there captain position. Another duty is making sure all captains are active players. Another duty is to keep up with every event in the Shinigami controlled area's and to keep the peace between the race.
