The Fox's Hunt

Rukongai. The last home for the wholes. Above the quiet buildings, the full moon showered the town with soft, silver light. The stars spotted the pitch black celestial blanket. Suddenly the sky began to ripple, becoming warped and disfigured, then tore with a thin horizontal line just below the swollen moon. The rip expanded, opening a large portal; a Garganta. Within the asomatous gateway stood Valentina. Her golden eyes shimmered in the moonlight as she stepped out into it's silver rays. Her body became illuminated in the light. Her long sterling hair lightly danced behind her, each strand being caressed in the faint breeze that rushed past her. She raised her hand, snapping her clawed fingers. The action commanded the garganta to close. She lightly sniffed the air, seeking a certain person. One she was ordered to hunt. She soon caught the scent. The smell of the Kido Corps was close by. She grinned wide, showing sharp white teeth. Miku Horoki.... She muttered to herself. Your head is mine....

She walked along the sky, taking her time. She resembeled a deity as she hovered above the tattered Rukongai. Her head was topped with two fox-like ears, and her soft, plush tail swayed behind her with every step on air that she made. Her feet weren't like normal beings'. They were like a beast's paws. She hat three toes, each tipped with a razor sharp claw. Her hands were similar. Though she had five fingers, they were shaped like a beasts paw. Her fingers were tipped with claws that could easily tear through steel. Her hands and wrists were coated with soft black fur that felf like velvet to the touch. Her body was of average build. She was slender, though full in shape. Her flesh was marked with black tattoos, resembling ancient marks on a fox spirit. Her mask fragments took the form of a set of jawbones on each side of her face. Her face itself was painted with more markings; three stripes coming down from her forehead, three small stripes above both eyebrows, and two small dots above the inner corners of her eyes. She was more beast that humanoid. She got thrills out of the feel of blood on her hands.

Her mission was clear. "Distroy Miku Horoki" She thought to herself as she drew close to her destination. Her body shivered in anticipation as she caught the scent of her target. Her right hand moved down and gripped her weapon as she started to move in. She stepped down onto the roof of the Kido Corps barracks. Her target was right beneath her. She grinned wider....waiting for her moment to strike.

A shadowy figure formed in front of Valentina . The dark haired man raised a hand and spoke . Stop , You will not go and get yourself killed . We need as much as soldiers as possible . If you go there , you will be killed . If you want that so badly I will do it myself . I'm in charge of our forces in Soul Society . I will not let you screw up our plans . If you start randomly attacking you will expose us . They will figure out that we still reside here . If you truly want to pass and attack the Kidou Corps you will have to go through me . A superior . With that Hiruma turned his back and slowly started walking away . If the woman made a move he was determined to kill her . A small sacrifice for their success .

Valentina paused as the male appeared before her. Her fur bristled on her tail as it remained motionless behind her. Hiruma.....My orders are clear.....Shunjuku-dono and Stark-dono requested my target's destruction. I must obey.... She reached a hand down and lightly touched the scar where her Espada number used to be. A low growl echoed in her throat. Hiruma-Dono....It's my only chance to retain my rank.....

If you truly want your rank back , I will accompany you there . He motioned with his hand for the woman to follow . He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger . With me there , you shouldn't be in any danger . He started walking a bit faster . Finally he was running and then used sonido to reach the Kidou Corps . Looking behind him he couldn't see the woman but could feel her Reishi . Sitting down on the ground he waited for the other to arrive .

Valentina sniffed in disgust. Hmph....I don't need him.... She muttered as she continued on her own path towards the Kido Corps, following the scent of her target. Upon arriving, she glanced back at Hiruma with a sharp, piercing glare. She grinned almost defiantly at him, willing to only obey the orders of Shun-dono and Stark-dono. She soon felt the familiar crunching of bones. Her legs popped and buckled to a new shape. Her flesh bubbled and prickled with the sprouting of soft, silver fur. Her skull crunched and reformed itself to a more canine appearence. Her body ached. A gutteral moan escaped from lips that were no longer meant to speak. Fur soon covered her new body. She looked no longer human. She resembled a silver dog, no different from any other house pet. She could use this form to easily infiltrate the Kidou Corps. This body gave off no spiritual pressure what so ever. The masquerade was flawless. She bounded down on the sky's invisible stairs until her paws touched the coarse dirt of the ground. She stretched a bit and glanced at Hiruma once more with the same look of rejection to his offer. She was stong enough to do this alone.

I know that look . You can't do this alone , you're just an arrancar . He said with a sly tone and putting pressure on the word 'just' . He stood up and brushed off unexistent dust from his robe . He started to follow the now dog-like woman to the Kidou Corps . He had his trademark smirk on his face . The raven layed his hand into his pockets casually . He walked in slow and small steps . He let his reiatsu flare so that every person in the corps knew that they were there . His smirk turned into a grin as the dark spiritual pressure made the ground shake . He could even see Valentina breathing hard and giving her best not to fall down . Ofcourse , he hadn't released all of his reiatsu that was only 50% of it . He could've ripped the entire house out of the ground . If he would've released his ful reiatsu , the woman would be torn into shreds and he didn't like the sound of that . Firstly he would get lectured by Stark and secondly he would have to clean up her remains , he wasn't really happy about that . Shaking his head he came out of his thoughts and started to concentrate on the fight coming up ahead . Hiruma shivered in excitement as the came closer to the barracks .

Valentina growled at the male as he began to release his power. Her stealth had become completely useless now. Damn fool! She barked out through canine jaws. Her body shook from the pressure and she darted off from view, brushing off his spiritual pressure. She bolted with immense speed, combining her Sonido with her natural agility. Damn him... She thought. Damn him....

Grinning , he walked into the corps . Hey , you coming or what ? He shouted after the woman , or dog or whatever she was . He let his immense reiatsu tear off the roof of the house as he sonidod inside . Some weakling got into his way and he ripped the shinigami's throat out . After that his white robes got soaked with blood . He licked his fingers clean and narrowed his eyes . He needed to lure out some chick called Miku . Sighing he started to look for her .

Strolling around the parts of his division headquarters in his uniform, walking around with his shamanistic stick, Saito took his time to check out and inspect every detail. First up was his own division headquarters in Seiretei. It took him a while, sure, having seen that every men were prepped up and their quarters clean. Yet after all of that walking and inspecting, one more remained; the barracks in Rokungai. Having left off a note in his office were anyone interested in seeing him, he strolled off into Rokungai to find the barracks that lies there. Pacing throughout the dirt ground in that distinctive robe of his. Unlike a Captain's haori, it was all purple emblazoned with the Kido Corps symbol to show that he is in fact the Kido Corps Captain. The most powerful practitioner of Kido in the entire Seireitei. As he entered the barracks, the roof was missing, most of the members weren't even here to defend their barracks, and there were two nasty looking people who have bones on their body; Arrancars. Grip tightening on his shaman stick.

"I guess they got the moon view they always asked for..." Saito grumbles silently, muttering a few things that accompanied it.

Miku was ready for battle her long green hair tied in a single braid down her back,she had black baggy camofloge pants, she wore a tight black shirt, her crystal blue eyes were tense, her soft pink lips frowned, things were getting difficult, and in her gut she knew that something was going to happen pretty soon she placed her hand on her sword that was strapped to her back, she felt strong spiritual pressure, she placed her hand on her sword again, she waited for the person to come out of hiding.

Valentina, annoyed with Hiruma's actions, fled to the seireitei to recalculate her plans for attack.

(OOC: Since it's been more than two days, and Hiruma hasn't posted, I'll be making a post, one preventing Valentina's escape.)

The pragmatic Kido Corps Chief watches as the cowardly Arrancar attempts to flee in the form of Valentina. The only other person in the place is a reputed Arrancar to which Saito has been briefed on, mostly on his role in the invasion of Seireitei. Not named though but recognized through appearance alone. Although he has a high level, the Kido Chief cannot risk letting the Arrancar run off. Moments, if one was to look at him, there was him then there was him fading off, an after image. Fingers prepped up as he appeared right in front of Valentina, inches away from her (assuming she is trying to flee by just running off). Having just muttered the incantation the entire time there was the wait.

"Bakudo Kyuujoo Kokonotsu, Kurohitsugi." The Chief said to finalize the spell, to which four black walls shoot up around Valentina in a very fast pace with the ceiling cordoned off. Poised as the area soon seals off, with the Kido now in its original power. The Kurohitsugi soon shutting up with strikes made on whoever resides in that box from all conceivable direction imagined with every intent to leave the victim a shambling gory mess, a dead mess.

Valentina froze. Her fur bristled. She knew something powerful wa coming. in a lat line of defence, she curled into a britling ball of teel fur. Her powerfully stong hierro protected her from the wort of the male's attack, leaving her with a few scratches and bruises. Once the strike faded, Valentina uncurled and rose up on her back paws. Her marred pelt flickered with black ancient marking as she let out a masive burst of her spiritual pressure, enough to bring anyone to their knees. She let out a hollow moan a she shed her steel pelt, the mass of silver fur dropping to the ground in a steely pile. Her limbs crunched and crached as her body shifted back to a humanoid shape. Her flesh became supple once more, her feminine curves now filing and returning. A bright flash of light flickered from her right hip, then faded to reveal the number three etched into her flesh. Her soft, sterling hair draped down her now human sholders and covered her bare breasts. Her vupine tail whipped around to cover her exposed "lower regions." She gave a sharp, devious grin as she gazed upon the attacking male with cold, golden yellow eyes. Who do you think you are, boy? Her voice was harsh and almost beastly as it escaped from a still reforming jaw. A her jaw returned to it's human shape, a thick milky substance covered the right and left sides of her face. It solidified into the remnants of her hollow mak, two canine jaw bones. The nude female now stood, completely changed. Her glistening flesh shimmered in the pale moonlight, the black markings on her skin still faintly glowing. She stared coldy at the opposing male, waiting for an explanation.

Cross happend to be roof hopping accross the Rukongai as he looked over to the left to notice what appeared to be a shinigami and a wolf fighting. Cross stopped to watch, as the shinigami would not let the wolf ecsape from this battle. What Cross saw next amazed him, and somewhat aroused.... The wolf transformed into a beatiful Arrancar. Cross then fell off of the rooftop and landed upon his head, knocking himself out.

Hiruma mentally groaned as it became crowded in there . He didn't like unfair fights . He ran his hair through his dark hair and disappeared into a nearby shadow . He needed to get back-up . Where is Shunjuku when you need him ? He thought to himself . He resurfaced in the rukongai 81st district . He took a look around himself and found no threat . He snapped his fingers and the sky ripped open . He stepped into the 'mouth' and let it close with snapping his fingers again . He replaced his stoic features with a wicked grin . I'll be back . The garganta closed and swallowed him . He reappeared in Karakura Town , undercover .

Hiruma growled as the wolf tackled him . It didn't matter anyway , He pushed the wolf off himself but as he hit the ground he was able to dodge it partly , getting hit ito his stomach . As he got hit he disappeared into the shadows again , he knew that this was too dangerous . Bye , bye captain-chan . He said mocking him . With that he left without a trace .

((Pay attention to posts. The wolf tackled you, Not Tadashii. Even as the wolf was tackling you, The shakkaho was shot. It'd be impossible to completely dodge it, And you would have been in mid-air when it was shot as well, From the tackle. Therefore no shadows for you to dissapear into.))

((Since no posting order has been established yet, my turn. Also, Valentina. Saito hit you with a Kidou #90. You would have sustained massive amounts of damage, Whether or not you had your steel fur. Btw, That's part of your release, And you didn't release.

I'm going to be nice here, And not call your death, but rather just a massive hit. Your massively wounded, unconscious, and just about dead.

If you decide to bitch about this i'll stop being nice and you can actually be dead.))

Hiruma pushed the wolf off of him, but was unable to dodge the Shakkaho. Instead of it hitting his head it hits his midsection. The ball penetrates his skin, The massive power of the Sotaicho imbued within it, Dealing a huge amount of damage, Tearing flesh, Burning it. Strangely enough Hiruma wouldn't bleed at this point, As the heat of the Shakkaho would seal shut any blood vessels. But then it does it's real job. The red ball explodes, Tearing at hiruma's flesh, Leaving massive chunks. It could very well have gone all the way through.

This is massive, Fatal damage. If it doesn't kill him instantly it will certainly kill him soon, Unless he can find some sort of magic witch doctor, And fast.

He falls into his own shadow, Dissappearing. Tadashii isn't worried. However, He does turn his head towards the arrancar who was hit by Saito's Kidou. Suprisingly she is still alive...Knocked out and near death, but still alive.

Kidōshū Sōshi Kotarō...Good to see you again my old friend. I have bad news. Yaouchi has Defected, And Taicho Debiru died in my arms. I am now the Sotaicho. My first order in this role, Restrain that Arrancar, and prevent her death.

Saito sighed at the news, it could be quite bothersome to get ahold of it, to which he sometimes wishes he never got the news in the first place. At least that his Captain Commander's defection and how Shinzui died off was met with some great news, the fact that Tadashii became the newest Sotaicho was quite endearing, but nonetheless it wasn't enough to put Saito off of his remorse for his lack of ability to prevent these events.

"That is some... terrible news, I would have never expected Sotaicho Yaouchi to defect, and Taicho Shinzui to die off. Anyways, I never had an intention to kill her anyways, only if I have to, then so be it. Sotaicho." He said, giving a nod to as an act of respect to the newest Sotaicho than friend, now that he was promoted. Though it irks him that there is no surprise, as he is the Grand Kido Chief, in fact, him appearing is almost certainly rare, or being seen by others is rare indeed, as the Gotei 13 isn't the military establishment he follows, but rather, the Gotei 46. The larger order.

Though He simply mutters "Bakudō #63. Sajo Sabaku.", to which a long golden chain of light appears suddenly, running along Valentina's injured body as it soon coils around, tightening up. Pacing over to her damaged body, he kneeled down to cover her nudeness with his Grand Kido Chief's coat, which is dark bluish purple, has the Kido Corps emblem, and is quite large, custom made to fit Saito's height. That done, he carries her up to his shoulder, her stomach on his shoulder.

"Count yourself lucky, as I myself as the Grand Kido Chief, am supposed to know all kinds of Kido. Including that used by the 4th Division." He said to Tadashii, "But would you want your game to be healed as well and captured? As I can do both jobs of healing the two of them in imprisonment and even seal off their powers without ever using the Seki-Seki stones."

Throughout the entire time, he didn't lose his composure, the death and defection of Shinzui and Yaouchi had to be kept out. At least for now, a moment of weakness out here can even be exploited by the enemy. Even a second could lead to everyone's downfall, despite how saddened Saito is of the news.

Valentina starede around the crouded area. Her body ached. She felt a sudden jolt strike her. gashes appeared all over her body, her flesh now stained crimson with blood. Wh-what is this!! She howled before dropping to her knees. Her eyes went vacant as she drifted from consciousness. She lay motionless on the ground, her chest barelt rising. She was loosing blood fast. H-Hiruma-Dono..... Shun-dono... She thought. I'm sorry....
