Why not fight?

Wonderful day. Clouds were painted across the sky. The sun couldn't be seen. Just wonderful. Where was Taiki? Taiki was walking through this place. And where was this place? It was a field. A big one too. Taiki had his arms behind his head, and his eyes closed. Maybe a bad choice, maybe it wasn't. There was tons of grass in this place. Taiki had to remove his hands from behind his head, just to push the grass out of his way. Oh how he hated grass. If he had the choice he would burn it to the ground. A smile came across his face. He could burn the grass. Burn it to hell. But why didn't he? Maybe Taiki did have a heart. And grass was living, and taking it would be like taking a humans life. Taiki sighed. Maybe his heart was to big. Taiki stopped pushing the grass, and opened his eyes. There wasn't much to see. There was a hell of a lot of wind. It was pushing down the grass, and pushing the clouds away. This wind seemed to come out of no where. And as soon as it came, it was gone. Maybe forever, maybe it would come back. Who knows? Taiki looked up at the sky. The sun had finally broke the barrier the clouds had made. It was shining down. Just what Taiki didn't want. He hated the sun, more than anything. Yet the sun gave life. Oh well. People could still hate it. And Taiki was only one person in a big world.

Hanpa sat in the branches of a weaving willow tree during the middle of the day, enjoying the shade and warmth of the tight-knit nest of branches that had become almost a bed for her. However, when the clouds shifted and the sun moved, it would be at the perfect angle to break through the barrier or branches and shine down upon her. Never one to enjoy a tan or sunburn, she hopped from the branches and continued onward. However, at one point in the forest, it would break off. She had hit the end of her journey in the woods and would not like the resulting destination. Before her in the large field of grass was a man. She would flinch at the sight of him, before realizing that he wasn't just a man. Hollow-like spiritual pressure...but there is also a very strong shinigami tinge to it... Vaizard, and a moderately powerful one at that. Hanpa thought as she neared the man. Her beautiful black hair was down today, and it flowed behind her like a cape, the silky ebony strands dancing in the breeze that pushed against her. Hanpa's red kimono- decorated with black lotus patterns- shifted slightly as she moved, the black Obi's bow that was tied off at the base of spine bouncing as she moved. Her katana bounced against her hip once or twice as she moved, but she ignored it.
"What are you doing here?" She asked in a motherly tone, as if she were scolding her sun for playing on railroad tracks.

Taiki turned around and opened his eyes. There in front of him was a girl. He raised a eyebrow at this. What was a girl- No a woman, doing in a place like this. And now she was the one asking questions. Taiki opened his mouth. "I would ask you the same thing." But good thing Taiki was a nice guy. "I came here to fight. Would you like to fight me?" Taiki didn't really care, but he might get a fight. But it was a woman. How sexist of him. But any other man would think the same thing. Right? Taiki closed his eyes again, and put his hands behind his back. He awaited her answer. Where the woman had come from, Taiki didn't know. He didn't even know her name, but she didn't know his. So they were even. At least for now.
